Air Fryer Baked Oats Ingredients:

Here are all the ingredients you need to make the protein baked oats air fryer recipe:

  • oats –  since we are blending the batter, you can use any oats you prefer (quick oats, steel cut oats, rolled oats or even oat flour)
  • an egg – 1 medium size egg
  • banana – use 1/2 of a medium-sized ripe banana, If you prefer to make this recipe without banana, you can use 1/4 cup apple sauce instead.
  • milk – use any milk you like, I like using almond milk
  • protein powder – if you want to skip the protein powder, simply replace it with 1 tbsp extra of oats.
  • sweetener of choice – I use a sugar-free (and calorie-free) sweetener Swerve. You can also use white or brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup to sweeten it.
  • baking powder
  • mixed berries – Feel free to use fresh or frozen

What can I use instead of berries?

You can top baked oatmeal with various fruits such as sauteed apples, berries, chocolate chips, or nuts such as hazelnuts, pecans, or peanuts.

Since this oats recipe is incredibly high in fiber, it can help to keep you feeling full for longer and therefore eating less unhealthy foods. This can contribute to weight loss when combined with a healthy diet and plenty of exercise.

How long will the baked oatmeal recipe last in the fridge?

This recipe tastes the best when consumed within a few hours. If you want to meal prep the overnight oats, I recommend making the batter and storing it in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. When ready to cook, pour the oatmeal mixture into your baking dish, top it with your favorite toppings, and cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes.
