Here are all the ingredients you need to make this healthy air fryer baked oats with no banana recipe:
- oats – since we are blending the batter, you can use any oats you prefer (quick oats, instant oats, rolled oats, gluten-free oats or even oat flour) Note: If using oat flour, then you don’t need to blend the recipe and can simply mix it.
- an egg – 1 medium size egg
- apple sauce – use 1/2 of a medium-sized ripe banana, If you prefer to make this recipe without banana, you can use 1/4 cup apple sauce instead.
- milk – use any milk you like such as regular milk, soy milk, cashew milk, or coconut milk. I like using unsweetened almond milk.
- peanut butter –
- sweetener of choice – I use a sugar-free (and calorie-free) sweetener Swerve. You can also use white or brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup to sweeten it.
- baking powder
- chocolate chips – I like to use dark chocolate chips but you can use any that you like.

How to make baked oatmeal without bananas:
Step 1: Add oats, almond milk, apple sauce, sweetener, peanut butter, and baking powder into a blender and blend until smooth and combined.
Step 2: Grease a small baking dish or a ramekin with some oil and pour in the baked oats mixture.
Step 3: Place into an air fryer basket and top with chocolate chips.
Step 4: Bake in an air fryer for 9-12 minutes at 350 F (175 C) or until done to your desired consistency.
Step 5: Drizzle with peanut butter or pure maple syrup if you like and serve immediately.

What can I add instead of applesauce?
I like to use applesauce to make the baked oats without banana but if you prefer to not use that then you can substitute the apple sauce for pumpkin puree, banana, or mashed sweet potatoes.
