Okay, I have to admit it, I am super lazy when it comes to cleaning my house.
Even the thought of actually getting up and starting to vacuum makes me feel bored and I suddenly come up with a million other more important things I need to do just to avoid vacuuming.
Although I strongly dislike cleaning, I hate having a messy house even more so eventually I always roll up my sleeves and get to moving!
I always feel just a tiny bit more motivated to clean when I read about cleaning hacks for girls who hate cleaning. These are some of my favorite hacks I use on how to stop being lazy and clean my house. Hope they motivate you as much as they do for me!

1.Use a removable oven liner
Does it smell like something is on fire every time the oven is on? That’s probably because there are food scraps in your oven from 2007 that have been cooked about 1000 times because let’s be honest, cleaning the oven is the absolute worst!
What exactly is an oven liner? Well, it’s a time saver, A drip blocker, A crumb catcher, A spill protector, A burnt food guard. It’s your nonstick secret to never having to clean the bottom of your oven again.

2.Always make your bed first thing when you get up
I know that it seems like sooo much effort but trust me it’s so worth it! Ever since I started actually making my bed every morning, I have noticed that I have been much more likely to do more cleaning around the house.
I think it’s just a mental thing but when you see your bed all nice and the rest of the house an absolute mess next to it, you’ll feel more inclined to tidy up.
3.Line your refrigerator with cling wrap
You will never have to spend time wiping down your fridge again with using a simple layer of cling wrap that everyone already has at home!
4.Use dryer sheets that have already been used to get rid of watermarks
Simply wipe the surfaces with watermarks down with a used dryer sheet and the marks will disappear! voila!
these are an affordable option
5.While you’re at it dryer sheets are also great for dusting
Use a dry one for wiping down all surfaces to prevent any dust from building up! Super simple and will keep you from having to do a big clean for longer!
6.Keep a pretty hamper or basket in high traffic areas
I like to keep one in my bedroom, living room and study so I can always throw anything I’m too lazy to put away in its proper place in there.
That way all the mess stays hidden in the said hamper and once every few days(after having a massive cup of coffee to motivate myself!) I’ll grab the hamper and do a quick tour around the house, putting everything in its place.
I love these cute ones from Target:
rope basket with fringe$19.99
dark wicker hamper $48.99
golden wire basket $19.99
7.Clean the microwave without any scrubbing
Ready to get rid of all that gross residue inside your microwave? All you have to do is fill a microwave-safe bowl with 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of white vinegar and microwave it for 3 minutes.
After that just give it a quick wipe over and your microwave will look brand new again!
8.Use your dishwasher to wash pretty much anything
Aside from obvious things to wash in the dishwasher like dishes(duh) you can also wash: kids toys, shoes, kitchen sponges, dog toys, grill rack, keys and so on! The options are endless!

9.Spray lemon furniture polish onto shower glass to avoid soap scum and watermarks from building up
This one was a life saver for me! I absolutely hate washing the shower doors and they get dirty so quickly after washing them that I completely stopped washing them for months because I didn’t see a point in all that work to disappear in less than a day!
The lemon oil in the polish will make the water simply slide off the doors. It is almost like magic!
Pledge lemon spray $4.29
Hope you enjoyed these hacks, let me know if you have any more great cleaning hacks as I would love to try just about anything out to make this terrible chore even a lil bit more enjoyable!♥
